THE DEFINATION OF DOWRY -- Dowry means dahej is like payment which the bride family pay to the bridegroom and his family.kanyadanam means kanya means doughter and danam means gift at the wedding time.it was started in the upper familys as a gift for groom and in law with the bride but in india it have been made coutom and expenses of marriage.its very normal in india and here are most cases in india to face violence and abusement due to dowry coutom.we can say that now dowry is like a protection of wife by the husband to not beat the wife and in many case when the womens feel vulnerability to rufuse the ammount of additional dowry by her family and then we can see lots of cases where the womens are burned and abused and being miserable .in india ninty percent case of womensburned are considered as a incident and other five percent are reported as a sucide and another five percent as a murder.thats the main reason the ammount of dowry have been probihited by the india civial low since 1961 but the dowry is very normal in india till now and there are lots of womens face violence and are abused due to the dowry.dowry provides incentive to the husband not to harm his wife.The womens are tipcaly burned by their husband and their family to refusal the additional ammount of dowry by her family and used the kerosene and most of the womens face domestic violence due to the costom so i think the dowry is like a hell in india and we should totaly remove it if we want to safe the womens in our country .in our country the situation of women is not much good bcz here are lots of the family who really dont want to get a baby bcz of dowry custom and wedding expenses .this type of family force the womens to abortion so i think there is a need to aware the public toward this matter and how much danger it can be for the country.in our india womens r like a GODDES LAXMI so why some people do this type of thing.in our country here is lots of family who think equal doughter and son and we can see in many fields most of the girls r doing work with man and also doing well than son in enducation so tell me how can u say that boys r better than girls and boys can safe their family better than girls .its totaly base less and hell.IN our country there is an need to inpliment any strict low against the home violence and in some cases refer to execute accourding to me.
